The Defense Department announced the identification of remains of Capt. Robert A. Holt, of Reading, Ma. and Capt. John A. Lavoo, of Pueblo Co. Both men were members of the U.S. Marine Corp, lost September 19, 1968 over Quang Binh Province, North Vietnam.

According to the DPMO Weekly Update, dated June 4th, 1999 - "Anthropological analysis of the remains and other evidence by the U.S. Army Central Identification Laboratory, Hawaii confirmed the identification of both of these servicemen."
